Day 3 - Journey to Poznan and on to Warsaw
We travel through patchwork farm landscapes stopping in Poznan, before arriving in the modern Polish capital, Warsaw, where we'll spend the next two nights. Embrace the youthful verve of a city that has triumphed over repeated conquests and the shackles of communism, then spend the evening at leisure exploring the sights, or perhaps join an Optional Experience exploring Warsaw's past.

Day 4 - Discover Historic Warsaw
Join a Local Specialist this morning to explore Warsaw's colorful historic center, including the Old Town, which the Nazis destroyed in retaliation for the brave Warsaw Uprising. We'll also see the former Warsaw Ghetto, where hundreds of thousands of Polish Jews were imprisoned during the German occupation, tragically immortalized in the poignant Roman Polanski film 'The Pianist'. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city's sights on your own. Consider a visit to the Wilanów Palace, a priceless testimony to the splendor of Poland's royal past, or treat yourself to a Chopin recital, before joining your travel companions this evening for a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 - Onwards to Auschwitz and Kraków Dive Into Culture
Today we journey south from Warsaw to the Auschwitz Memorial Site of the former Concentration Camp, a poignant reminder of one of the greatest tragedies and crimes of human history. Our visit includes a guided tour of Auschwitz. We then continue to the enchanting city of Kraków.

Day 6 - See the Sights of Kraków
A leisurely walk through the beautiful streets of Kraków today with our Local Specialist will include such highlights as the Royal Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill, recognised as the most historically and culturally significant site in Poland. We continue through the Old Town to hear the bugle warning from St. Mary's Church and view of the Cloth Hall. The rest of the day is yours to explore the sights on your own. Consider joining an Optional Experience to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, renowned as the Underground Salt Cathedral of Poland and home to an entire chapel carved from rock salt, as well as dozens of sculptures. Enjoy a slice of Polish Sernik Babci on the Old Town Square or visit a traditional milk bar. Day 7 - Venture through Slovakia to Budapest
Today we travel through three countries from Poland, through Slovakia's Tatra mountains, and into Hungary as we arrive in beautiful Budapest later this afternoon. This evening, perhaps consider a scenic river cruise with dinner along the beautiful Danube.

Day 8 - Uncover the Treasures of Budapest Make Travel Matter Connect with Locals

Day 9 - Off to Vienna Stays With Stories

Amble along Baross Gábor Street and admire the Baroque façades, before departing to Vienna, your home for the next two nights. Day 10 - Admire Vibrant Vienna

Day 12 - The Old Town and More in Prague
Join a Local Specialist this morning for an exploration of the city's labyrinthine lanes, and beautiful squares. Admire the impressive St. Vitus Cathedral, set within the 1,000-year-old Prague Castle, cross the Vltava to the Old Town Square and view the 14th-century Astronomical Clock, with its magical hourly Walk of the Apostles. Spend the rest of the day wandering the streets of the Old Town or take a relaxing lunch cruise on the Vltava.

Day 13 - Journey to Frankfurt

You will start the tour in Berlin at Charlottenburg palace where your personal guide is waiting for you and will show you the wonderful garden of the castle.

The historical Berlin
includes the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the boulevard Unter den Linden, the famous Gendarmenmarkt as well as Charlottenburg Palace, the largest and most beautiful Baroque palace in Berlin.
The cultural Berlin
includes the city's three opera houses, two concert halls, numerous theaters and museums as well as the unique Museum Island with five important museum-buildings and the Kultur-Forum, where one of the world's most important collections of European paintings from the 13th till the 19th century is shown.
The political Berlin
includes the government area around the Reichstag with the new Office of the Federal Chancellor and the Paul Löbe Building as well as the Embassy Quarter around Pariser Platz and Tiergarten.
The divided Berlin
Checkpoint Charlie, the former border crossing between East and West Berlin, reminds us of the long period which Berlin was a divided city.

includes Potsdamer Platz – one of the most popular attractions with its mix of restaurants, stores, theaters, cinemas and business areas, which was predominantly designed by Sony and Daimler-Chrysler during the past 10 years.
The young Berlin
Features exciting night life around the Hackescher Markt, located in Berlin Mitte, the concentrated trendy scene from Oranienburger Straße and its side streets to the courtyard ensemble at Hackesche Höfe. This area is also known as the former Jewish Quarter the Centrum Judaicum/New Synagogue.

Lunch can be arranged for you in the spectacular setting of its roof terrace restaurant*.
