Located in the former cooperage of the Maison Monnet, the Jazz Bar 1838 is an enchanting place dedicated to Cognac offers guests a wide selection of 220 different cognacs. The bartenders’ creativity is celebrated with a selection of cocktails that change accordingly with each season.
Our gastronomic restaurant Les Foudres is located in the restored “chai cathédrale” where you are still able to see the century-old Cognac casks listed as French industrial heritage. Our Michelin starred chef invites you to share his love for gourmet cuisine using local products. Each one of his dishes takes you on a journey to discover new flavors through his tasting menu.
During the summer months, the Hotel Chais Monnet & Spa opens its’ modern Rooftop, you may come up and discover our exclusive and tailor-made cocktails, while enjoying a lovely view of Cognac and its surroundings.
